We invite you to explore our website and learn more about our Countertop Creations

“The Counter Intelligence People” is more than just a slogan at Art-Tech Surfacing. We strive to share our knowledge and experience with our clients so they can make the very best decisions on material, color and design.

Each type and brand of material offered by Art-Tech has specific considerations. For this reason we have provided you with links under the Solid Surface, Quartz Surface, and Granite screens on our website for most of the brands we offer.

However, many inquiries deal with the job process and what to expect as your job moves forward. Among the most frequently asked questions about the job process are:

1. How long will it take to install my solid surface or quartz surface countertop in my home?
Solid surface installation time is approximately 3 weeks after the Field Measure date. Quartz surface installation time is approximately 4 weeks after the Field Measure date.

2. Explain the overall process of selecting and having a countertop installed. Once you have made your selection of material, color(s) and features, either by visiting our showroom or meeting with our outside salesperson, a Field Measure (FM) is scheduled. New cabinets must be installed before FM, but if existing cabinets will remain (ie a remodel) we can FM with existing countertops in place. At the FM a template is created that we use to fabricate the actual countertop.

3. What about sinks and cooktops? If you are providing a sink by others, it must be on site the day of FM. If Art-Tech is providing either an integral sink or a stainless steel sink, we will have the information we need. Cooktops must also be on site the day of FM. This is of particular importance if you are using a downdraft style cooktop.

4. What about faucets? All faucets should be on site the day of FM.

5. What is Art-Tech’s payment policy? Art-Tech requires a 50% downpayment no later than at Field Measure. The balance is due upon satisfactory job completion for residential customers. Commercial payment terms vary depending on the project. Art-Tech accepts cash, checks, debit, and credit cards.
